It’s now September 2025. There's four months left before 2026. Four months is a short time however it’s also enough time to change your entire life — if you want to.
Many have stayed exactly where they were at the beginning of this calendar year — maybe even last year. And this is not meant as an insult, just a fact.
At the start of 2025 you probably said things like:
- This is my year.
- I’ll start working out.
- I’ll build my business.
- I’ll get up earlier and read every day.
But now, it's September and you're still watching motivational videos instead of doing anything. You are not lazy you are simply still in 'knowing mode.' You know what to do but don't do it.
💡 The Harsh Truth: Knowing Isn’t Doing

- Exercise regularly
- Eat better
- Sleep early
- Stop scrolling so much
- Learn something every day
You know what you should do but knowing and doing is two different things.
Many spend hours looking at "change your life" content, making notes, feeling motivated... and then not doing anything.
That's like preparing for an exam you never wrote.
If you want to enter 2026 as a different person, then action must take precedence over knowledge.
⚠️ Why Most People Stay Stuck
Let’s be honest most people are going to waste the next four months the same way they wasted the last eight.
- Scrolling.
- Overthinking.

And the ugly truth is - if you didn't change or make progress in 4 months, what makes you think you will magically do it in 12?
New Year’s resolutions wont change you creating habits today will.
Habits can be developed today, not just on January 1.
- You aren't broken — you are simply stuck in the same pattern as most everyone else:
- You plan and don't follow it up.
- You procrastinate.
- You talk about goals and never take action.
- You mistake movement for progress.
Watching, researching, and planning feel productive, but it has no value without taking action. Action is the only thing that moves you.
🔥 Treat the Next 4 Months Like a Mini Lifetime
Forget about January. Pretend it doesn't exist.
Instead, ask yourself:
"What is one thing I could really change before this year ends?"{alertSuccess}
Consider this your last lap of a race. This is not the time to be in slow motion.
When January 2026 arrives, everyone else will still be writing fake resolutions.
But you will have momentum, discipline, and visual proof of your change.
✅ 5 Steps to Take Control of the Rest of 2025
Let’s skip the theory. Here are 5 real, practical steps you can take to own the next four months.
1. Pick Only 1–2 Main Goals
This is where a majority of people struggle − they take on too many things all at once.

- Lose weight
- Start a business
- Learn a language
- Read 30 books
- Quit sugar
You can't do it all.
You only want to be committed to 1-2 meaningful and transformative goals.
Something like:
- Be consistent with the gym
- Build a side hustle
- Fix your sleep/wake schedule
- Save money
Momentum over multitasking.
If you can stick to one goal and begin to make real progress, your confidence will carry over into every area of your life.
2. Create Daily Non-Negotiables
Choose a small daily task you will follow through on, regardless of how busy or distracted you feel that day.
Something so simple you would feel like you have to justify not doing it. {alertSuccess}
Examples:
- Write for 20 minutes
- Do 10 push-ups
- Work 3 hours without your phone
- Read for 10 pages
Complete your non-negotiables, even when your day is chaotic and it seems like it is falling apart.
3. Follow the “No BS Rule”

Write down every excuse, as in:
- “I’ll start tomorrow.”
- “I’m too tired.”
- “I’ll do it when I feel ready.”
Then ask yourself,
- “Has this excuse ever helped me before?”
Spoiler:No, it has never helped you.
Excuses are lies to protect your comfort zone.
Once you can recognize them and see that they never actually helped you, it will become easier to devise a plan to let them go.
4. Cut Time Wasters in Half
You're not busy—you’re distracted.

Check your screen time tomorrow. You'll be amazed.
Here’s an easy challenge: ⚡
- Half your distractions for the next 4 months.
Then you'll automatically have three extra hours lifted out of your day; that's 90 extra hours in the month—enough to create another habit or even start a side business!
(I've been in monk mode for 15 days and plan to be in it until 2026 please consider joining me!)
5. Stack Small Wins Every Day
Change arises from a series of small victories acquired consistently over time, rather than through one heroic effort.

For example:
- If you write 500 words a day, you'll have a full draft of your book within four months.
- If you save $10 a day, you would have a total savings of $1,200 by New Year's Day, 2026.
- If you walk an average of 5,000 steps/day, you would have more energy and focus each week.
Small wins create confidence. Confidence creates consistency. Consistency creates results.
💬 Real Talk: It’s Not Easy, But It’s Worth It
You will have off days. You will mess up on occasion. You are going to want to throw in the towel. That’s not abnormal.
Everyone — including successful people — can fall off a plan. They just don’t stay there.
Remember the following:
- Perfection is a trap.
- Consistency is the goal.
- Taking off is the hardest part — not flying.
In the beginning, the first few weeks will be heavy and uncomfortable; and once you start to gain momentum, it becomes easier.
✨ Picture This — January 1st, 2026
Everyone is saying, “This year, I’m finally starting.”
But you are already four months in. You’ve already developed habits, and you are starting to see progress.
You aren’t starting, you are keeping going. That kind of confidence changes everything.
⚡ Final Challenge

That's 2,880 hours.
Ask yourself:
- Am I going to be wasteful like I have been?
- Or am I finally going to make a commitment and give myself a real chance?
This isn't about perfection, this is about intention.
This is about showing yourself that you can stick with something.
If you can own these next 4 months, not only will you walk into 2026 without hoping for change,
- You will be the change.
🚀 Start Today — Not Tomorrow
Don't skip this.
Just do this now:
- Write down your 1-2 top goals.
- Write your daily non-negotiables.
- Take one little action today.
Not next week.
Not next year.
Today.
Let’s finish 2025 strong. 💪
